Removal of diseased chestnut tree from Hunstrete car park has been completed.

Donations of various values received from members in appreciation of services by the club. (These are usually allocated to the junior section and are very much appreciated by all concerned, SO ALL GIFTS ARE VERY WELCOME.)

Five committee members to attend Environment Agency’s Fishery Management seminar later in the month.

Report on 2009 season at Box Brook indicated best sport for many years.

Agreed to renew club’s membership of Angling Trust.

Maintenance days allocated for various fisheries. They are on the website.

Environment Agency advised against breaking ice on the club lakes.

Claims for specimen fish awards received from:
Mr B. Rose - 24lb 08ozs leather carp from Hunstrete Lake
Mr S. Morris - 14lbs pike from Hunstrete Lake
Mr P. Berry - 27lbs 12ozs mirror from Hunstrete Lake

Warning signs of overhead power cables to be erected at all relevant points on club waters.

Open match on River Avon won by R. Howley from Dorking with 12lbs 03ozs of bream.
The river was two feet above normal.

Violent storms bring down several trees at Hunstrete.

Tackle auctions continue to raise good sums for fishery development.

Agreed to join the A.P.R.S. (Avon Preservation and Restocking Society)

Bristol Avon River Authority (now the Environment Agency) stocking the Box Brook with brown trout.

The River Authority are proposing to sponsor an Avon Individual Championship with a cup and cash value £100.

Evidence has been prepared for submission to forthcoming Public Inquiry concerning proposed marina at Newbridge.

More emphasis to be placed on junior angling.
