Following on from the usual formalities of our January meeting, Simon gave us a fascinating and amusing slide show and talk about his purchase of a 1982 Silver Wing from a seller based in Nort East USA, from there he and his girlfriend would pickup the bike from Michigan and do a road trip across the US to a friends wedding in San Diego via a small town american route.
From removing a mouse from the airbox, the remnants of hurricane Ike, midget wrestling, gay bars, camping on petrol station forecourts, more road trip post wedding and finally shipping the bike back to the UK it was a great presentation. A big thanks to him for taking the time to prepare it.
